Role: Senior Technical Lead - Informatica
Location: Bangalore, India

Responsibilities

• Design ETL processes using Informatica to load data from various data sources to target Data Warehouse
• Informatica Server Administration
• Independently do Informatica mapping, session and workflow design for the given requirements keeping in mind scalability, performance, usability
• Dimension, Fact & Aggregate Tables - mapping, session and workflow design
• Informatica Change Management
• Ability to research, follow up and resolve complex issues or problems surfaced by the team
• Work allocation and lead the team for the Informatica part of requirements for a release
• Work with product management team to understand requirements and come up with realistic design and deadlines.
• Be the single point of contact for all production issues and do proper work allocation to have them resolved
• Maintain Infa installations in various environments by defining proper backup, cleanup plans
• Ability to provide directions for Informatica upgrade and drive them to logical closure

Required skills

• Strong understanding of Power Center version 8x (861), 9.0.1 architecture
• Strong technical expertise in Data warehousing
• Hands on experience in complete suite of data integration products from informatica
• Hands on experience in installing, administration of Informatica suite of products
• Experience in using Informatica SDK for customizations is preferred
• Strong grasp and hands on experience in design, development, implementation and support of DW applications using various ETL products independently
• Database access and SQL queries (using JDBC, ODBC, SQL etc.)
• Database design and implementation
• Hands on experience in MySQL/Oracle/MSSQL
• Strong back ground in writing stored procedures/functions
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong knowledge in Power Center/ Power Exchange (Version 7 and above) and Data Query
• Knowledge and experience in Data Quality, B2B Data Exchange is desired
• Demonstrated skills in developing highly optimized ETL processes using Power Center
• Ability to work as part of/lead a small team to achieve tough goals

Required experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience in the relevant areas

Other

• Experience in the areas of channel management and supply-chain preferred
• Experience in product development preferred

Education

• Degree in Engineering, MCA or equivalent from a recognized university/institute
