Role: Lead - JAVA
Location: Bangalore, India

Responsibilities

• Design and development of three tier - high performance and scalable enterprise product in the domain of supply-chain and distribution channel
• Own feature development from conceptualization, definition through delivery
• Exhibit strong design and development skills
• Orientation to contribute both as a lead as well as an individual contributor
• Ability to research, follow up and resolve complex challenges faced by the team

Required skills

• 4-6 years of experience in building Java/JEE based enterprise scale web applications
• Object-oriented methodologies
• Prior experience with working on fast paced milestones using flexible and adaptive methodologies
• Strong programming skills, as well as the ability to review complex code bases written by others
• Model & design databases for high volume and high availability
• Exposure to web portals and related technologies
• Exposure to open source components for Design, Development, Reporting, Testing for enterprise applications
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Ability to understand, analyze and solve both explicit and implicit requirements
• Good communication skills, a good team player with a positive attitude

Technical Skill requirements

• Must have expert level skills in core Java, XML, Web services and build tools like Ant/Maven
• Must have hands on development experience on Spring, Hibernate/iBatis/TopLink/or any other ORM, JSP, Servlets and similar open source technology stack
• Experience in configuring and deploying applications in Tomcat / JBOSS / or any equivalent J2EE Application Server on Linux environment
• Good exposure to OOAD concepts, Design patterns and UML design skills
• Exposure to IoC, AOP concepts
• Should be strong on DB skills and preferably familiar with writing stored procedures in MySQL
• Exposure to performance tuning, trouble shooting and bug fixing
• Exposure to search algorithms and open source search technology stacks like Solr and Lucene

Required experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience in relevant areas of responsibilities

Education

• Regular Full Time Degree in Engineering, MCA or equivalent from a recognized university/institute
