Role: System Administrator
Location: Bangalore, India
Design, implement, and operate information system administrative procedures to manage production operation of large scale enterprise operation in the supply chain domain.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and manage Zyme Service Network in both Windows and Linux server environments (User Management, Web Services, Open Source apps, Mail Server, etc)
- Establish processes for monitoring and tuning system security, performance, and utilization
Required skills
- Knowledge on Web Servers, with good knowledge on Apache Tomcat and preferred knowledge on IIS
- Basic Skills on Systems Administration
- Basic Networking concepts
- Basic Systems Troubleshooting
- Browser configurations
- Web Based Application Setups
- Help Desk Activities - Day to day system or network issues
- System administration related to configuring, monitoring and auditing various services in Windows 2003 server, Active Directory, Linux etc.
- Managing hosted 24x7 operating environment
- Managing network and information security
- Configuring hardware and network for production applications
- Hands-on approach and strong scripting skills for automation of routine IT tasks
- Candidate should be willing to work in shifts
Required experience
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in relevant areas of responsibilities
Education
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MCA or equivalent from a recognized university/institute
