Role: Software Engineer - Informatica
Location: Bangalore, India
Responsibilities
- Design ETL processes using Informatica to load data from various data sources to target Data Warehouse
- Design and develop quality plans for data validations using Informatica Data Quality
- Informatica Server Administration
- Informatica mapping, session and workflow design
- Dimension, Fact & Aggregate Tables - mapping, session and workflow design
- Informatica Change Management
- Ability to research, follow up and resolve complex issues or problems surfaced by the team
Required skills
- Strong technical expertise in Data warehousing.
- Hands on experience in complete suite of data integration products from Informatica
- Experience in using Informatica SDK for customizations is preferred
- Strong grasp and hands on experience in design, development, implementation and support of DW applications using various ETL products.
- Database access and SQL queries (using JDBC, ODBC, SQL etc.)
- Database design and implementation
- Hands on experience in MySQL/Oracle/MSSQL.
- Strong back ground in writing stored procedures/functions.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong knowledge in Power Center/ Power Exchange (Version 7 and above) and Data Query
- Knowledge and experience in Data Quality, B2B Data Exchange is desired
Required experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the relevant areas
Other
- Experience in the areas of channel management and supply-chain preferred
Education
- Degree in Engineering, MCA or equivalent from a recognized university/institute
